The Buccaneers are still in the process of scheduling visits with free agents. Kansas City T Jordan Black visited One Buc Place Tuesday. San Francisco center Jeremy Newberry is scheduled to visit Wednesday. In addition, the Bucs are attempting to line up visits with Denver G Cooper Carlisle and Cincinnati S Kevin Kaesviharn.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers continue to entertain visitors as One Buccaneer Place.

The latest visitor was Kansas City Chiefs free agent tackle Jordan Black, who was at One Buccaneer Place Tuesday.

Black, 26, is a former fifth-round draft pick out of Notre Dame. He’s versatile enough to play both tackle positions.

After starting his career as a backup, Black has started 25 games over the past two seasons. He’s played a significant role in running back Larry Johnson’s success via the ground game while being part of one of the league’s most potent offenses.

Overall, Black (6-5, 310) has started 29 of the 48 games he’s played in since entering the league in 2003.

The Bucs agreed to terms on a deal with New York Giants T Luke Petitgout on Tuesday, according to NFl.com.

As previously reported by PewterReport.com, San Francisco center Jeremy Newberry is scheduled to visit the Buccaneers on Wednesday.

In the meantime, the Bucs are attempting to line up several other visits with free agents, including Denver guard Cooper Carlisle and Cincinnati safety Kevin Kaesiharn.

Carlisle (6-5, 295) has started 38 of the 95 games he’s played in since 2000. He started all 16 regular season games at right guard in the 2005 and 2006 seasons. The 28-year-old guard is versatile enough to play both guard positions, although the Bucs likely would be interested in signing him to compete with Dan Buenning at the left guard spot.

Carlisle spent Tuesday visiting Seattle. As of right now, Carlisle is not scheduled to visit One Buc Place, but his agent said that could change sometime soon.

Kaesviharn (6-1, 196) entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent out of Augustana (SD).

The 30-year-old safety has notched 331 career tackles, six sacks, 15 interceptions and 45 passes defensed.

Last season, Kaesviharn recorded four sacks and a team-high six interceptions with the Bengals.

In other news, the Bucs lost out on the bidding for linebacker Napoleon Harris, who on Tuesday signed a six-year contract with the Kansas City Chiefs. That deal, according to NFL.com, includes $6 million in guaranteed money.
