The Bucs have scheduled a 2:00 p.m. press conference at One Buccaneer Place. Several media outlets have speculated that fullback Mike Alstott, who has missed three straight day of practice, will announce his retirement from the NFL. However, that has not been confirmed by the team.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have scheduled a 2:00 p.m. press conference at One Buccaneer Place.
Although there has been no official announcement, several media outlets have speculated that Bucs fullback Mike Alstott will announce his retirement from the National Football League after 11 seasons.
Alstott, 33, signed a one-year, $1.5 million contract with the Bucs on Mar. 1 after contemplating retirement.
He has missed the last three days of training camp with what the team deemed “general soreness.”
