Tampa Bay RT Jeremy Trueblood was fined $15,000 this week by the NFL for making contact with a game official during last Sunday's 17-10 win over the Arizona Cardinals. Trueblood was ejected in the final two minutes of the game for unsportsmanlike conduct after he and engaged in a shoving match with some members of Arizona's defensive line.

Buccaneers right tackle Jeremy Trueblood was fined $15,000 this week by the National Football League for "impermissible contact with a game official," according to the St. Petersburgh Times.

Trueblood was ejected and flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct in the final two minutes of Tampa Bay's 17-10 win over Arizona last Sunday after he engaged in a shoving match with some members of the Cardinals' defensive line, including defensive tackle Darnell Dockett. During the incident, Trueblood inadvertently made contact with an official.

Although the Bucs accused the Cardinals of attempting to swat the ball before it was snapped on the final series of the game, no Cardinals players were fined for Sunday's incident at Raymond James Stadium.

Trueblood, who is in his second season with the Bucs, originally entered the NFL as a second-round draft pick out of Boston College. He has started all nine games for the Bucs this season.

Jim, aren't you being overly neutral here? The Bucs "accused" the Cardinals of swatting the ball -- it is on tape!

The player(s) who respond to the scuffle usally get flaged and/or ejected.Having the ref involved the league did what they had to do.I like his spunk, however the players need to learn to control their emotions. At least he did'nt get suspended.Lets hope the Bucs can play playoff ball the next 7 weeks. The Saints are comming on.The game on 12/2 looms large lets hope it means something to the Bucs.
