The Buccaneers announced their 2008 tickets prices on Friday. Prices have increased anywhere between $5 and $23 per ticket, depending on the location of the seat. The Bucs will not require a new seat deposit from season ticket holders whose 10-year contracts have expired.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced ticket prices for their 2008 home games at Raymond James Stadium on Friday.
The general ticket prices for Bucs home games will be $99, $89, $85, $75, $65, $55, $50 and $42, representing a price increase of anywhere between $5 and $23 per ticket.
Despite the price increase, the Buccaneers stated in a press release that their ticket prices are less expensive than most in the National Football League.
"We feel that Buccaneers tickets offer our fans a great experience for good value," said Jason Layton, who serves as the Bucs director of ticketing and sales. "Our most expensive general seat is less expensive than 15 other teams in the NFL"
The Bucs also announced that they would not require a new seat deposit from season ticket holders whose 10-year contracts with the team expired after the 2007 season.
In addition, season ticket holders will continue to receive a five percent refund of their original seat deposit(s), and the season ticket holders whose contracts expired at the end of the '07 season will be required to sign a new three-year agreement.

the press release only tells HALF the story... there's a lot of spin doctoring in there... it doesnt mention that my club seats went up $45 PER TICKET! ONE (1) ticket costs $395 PER GAME... including a pre-season game. That's the 4th highest in the NFL.. but you don't see that in the press release. RJ Stadium has something like 11,000 club seats, which I believe is the most Club-type seats of any NFL Stadium.. (you can tell by how crowded the club area is)... so if you consider the Bucs have the 4th highest club prices and then you multiply that by the MOST total number of club seats, there is your profit machine!
The reason the Bucs can say regular season ticket priace are ranked #15 is because they're gouging the 11,000 club seat holders... I know, Boo hoo, right? Don't assume a long time club holder can afford any price they want to charge... that's a ridiculous assumption. And people are locked into 10 year deals just like everyone else, but with HIGHER penalties... club deposits are around $7,000 in lost deposits for just 2 seats.. no one would walk away from that kind of money.
The point is, if they're going to rob from the club seat holders to subsidize the general ticket holders, then DONT increase the general ticket holders seats too! they're gouging both sides

Wow, a 30% price hike in tickets, which totals (coincidentally?) the refund from my original seat deposit. These bastard leprechaun douchebag Glazers don't have an ounce of respect for the fans. You can forget me as a customer, I saw tickets going for 1/3 face value outside the stadium for the PLAYOFF GAME AGAINST THE GIANTS!!! They have severely overestimated the demand in the community. My money will be better spent on Bulls season tix. Hey Malcom, I hope you have a couple more agonizing strokes before you burn in Hell. Say hi to Hugh Culverhouse for me when you get there.

Be careful what you wish for jcampa1012. I have to say this could be a first for seeing someone actually wish for someone's death on Pewter Report. Real nice talk looser. Let's review. When the Glazier's came to Tampa, the Bucs were a joke in the NFL.They brought in the right personel who changed the attitude. Gave the Bucs a new look. Built a stadium that is still one of the best in the NFL. Win a Super Bowl. Build the best training facility in the leauge and put a winning product on the field. Other than that, not much else has happened. Hey I would like the ticket prices to stay the same but prices of things go up and they are running a business. I think that's an excellent decision on your part jcampa1012 to no longer be a customer of the Bucs, we need to weed out the fair-weather fans.

jcampa1012 - Be careful. You reap what you sew.
Season ticket holders can vote by chosing to renew - or not. I am a long time ticket holder. I will just expect more. Who knows I might actually support what Steve Deumig says. Not really.

I've been getting calls for the last 3 years about Club Season Tickets. Unfortunately, I can not afford the $16,000 price tag for 2 tickets on the 10 yard line. When I asked the salesman what they had in other areas of the stadium, he said he couldn't look up those seats on his system.
Another problem for me is that I've been able to get single game tickets from Ticketmaster every year; usually in a section I like more than Club seats. I've been to 2+ games per year since 1999, plus every playoff game.
