Pewter Report's Charlie Campbell predicts the draft's first three rounds. Find out what the Bucs will do and where your favorite college players will go.

With the 2008 NFL Draft just days away here is a three-round mock draft to get you ready for the weekend. This year's draft is as fluid as any in recent memory, and that will make for one of the most exciting drafts in years.

1st Round
1. Miami- Jake Long OT Michigan
Not a surprise with Parcells preference to draft lineman.
2. St. Louis- Glenn Dorsey DT LSU
The Rams get their tackle and will move Carriker to the outside.
3. Atlanta- Matt Ryan QB Boston College
With three second-round picks the Falcons can address the o-line and defense.
4. Oakland- Chris Long DE Virginia
The Long family returns to Oakland. The Raiders need an edge rusher.
5. Kansas City- Sedrick Ellis DT USC
Herm Edwards gets his Warren Sapp three technique defensive tackle.
6. New York Jets- Darren McFadden RB Arkansas
The Jets need a playmaker and some excitement. McFadden can do that.
7. New England- Vernon Gholston DE Ohio State
Gholston looks to be a great fit as an edge rusher in the Patriots 3-4.
8. Baltimore- Leodis McKelvin CB Troy
The Ravens need youth at corner, and can get better QB value later.
9. Cincinnati- Derrick Harvey DE Florida
A pass rusher is needed and Harvey is the best pure pass rusher in the draft.
10. New Orleans- Keith Rivers LB USC
The Saints addressed corner in free agency but can't rely on Dan Morgan.
11. Buffalo- Devin Thomas WR Michigan State
Thomas is a good compliment for Lee Evans and will help Edwards and Lynch.
12. Denver- Ryan Clady OT Boise State
The Broncos o-line needs youth and gets great value with Clady at 12.
13. Carolina- Philip Merling DE Clemson
The Panthers need help on both lines but the defense takes priority.
14. Chicago- Chris Williams OT Vanderbilt
The Bears line is in shambles and Williams gives them a LT to start with.
15. Detroit- Rashard Mendenhall RB Illinois
He may go higher and is ultra-talented. The Lions have a big hole at RB.
16. Arizona- Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie CB Tennesse State
Antrel Rolle is moving to safety the Cards need a shut down corner.
17. Kansas City- Brandon Albert OG Virginia
The big athletic guard/tackle will man the line for a longtime.
18. Houston- Mike Jenkins CB South Florida
Dunta Robinson and Fred Bennett have question marks. Jenkins is great value.
19. Philadelphia- Kenny Phillips S Miami
After free agency, safety is their only need on defense.
20. Tampa Bay- Donnie Avery WR Houston
Avery is the big play threat the Bucs need to groom under Joey Galloway.
21. Washington- Calais Campbell DE Miami
Campbell fills a big need on the d-line. He's a good end to replace Daniels.
22. Dallas- DeSean Jackson WR California
Will contribute early as a returner, and will be ready to replace Glenn soon.
23. Pittsburgh- Jeff Otah OT Pittsburgh
Otah stays in town and can start out inside and eventually move outside.
24. Tennessee- Limas Sweed WR Texas
Sweed has a history with Vince Young, and the Titans are weak at receiver.
25. Seattle- Jonathon Stewart RB Oregon
The Hawks could use a long term back. Jones and Duckett aren't that.
26. Jacksonville- Kentwan Balmer DT North Carolina
They need help on the line and Balmer will replace Marcus Stroud.
27. San Diego- Gosder Cherlius OT Boston College
The Chargers could use a right tackle, and LT can run behind him.
28. Dallas- Felix Jones RB Arkansas
With good depth in the draft at corner, Dallas can get their running back here.
29. San Francisco- Quentin Groves LB Auburn
Nolan needs an edge rusher to pair with Lawson. Groves is good for the 3-4.
30. Green Bay- Aqib Talib CB Kansas
Woodson and Harris are getting older, and Talib is a big-time ball hawk.
31. New York Giants- Jerod Mayo LB Tennessee
The champs need a lot of help at linebacker and Mayo could go higher.

2nd Round
32. Miami- Curtis Lofton LB Oklahoma
Zach Thomas is gone. Lofton is a good fit, and Parcells likes big linebackers.
33. St. Louis- Anthony Collins OT Kansas
Collins could be a bookend left tackle and the Rams need new lineman.
34. Atlanta- Sam Baker OT USC
The Falcon regime gets an athletic tackle to protect Ryan's blindside.
35. Kansas City- Lawrence Jackson DE USC
The Chiefs go back to USC to get Sedrick Ellis' teammate.
36. New York Jets- Reggie Smith DB Oklahoma
The Jets could use more help at corner or safety and Smith could play either.
37. Atlanta- Antoine Cason CB Arizona
The Hall trade left a big void in the Atlanta secondary. Cason fills it.
38. Baltimore- Brian Brohm QB Louisville
Most likely a team will trade up for Brohm at the end of round one.
39. San Francisco- Malcolm Kelly WR Oklahoma
Kelly should be happy he doesn't fall farther after his workout fiasco.
40. New Orleans- Mike Pollak C Arizona State
Now they have a replacement for Jeff Faine, and Pollack is a similar player.
41. Buffalo- Brandon Flowers CB Virginia Tech
The Bills haven't replaced Nate Clements. Flowers fits their zone scheme well.
42. Denver- Pat Sims DT Auburn
Sims will team with Marcus Thomas to try and address their porous middle.
43. Carolina- Joe Flacco QB Delaware
A team may trade up for Flacco. Carolina needs a future QB.
44. Chicago- Chilo Rachal OG USC
The Bears continue to revamp their o-line with a guard to go with Williams.
45. Detroit- Dan Connor LB Penn State
The Lions could use a middle linebacker to help Ernie Sims.
46. Cincinnati- Trevor Laws DT Notre Dame
With Harvey and Laws the Bengals have addressed their line really well.
47. Minnesota- Carl Nicks OT Nebraska
The Vikings could use a better right tackle and that helps Adrian Peterson.
48. Atlanta- Phillip Wheeler LB Georgia Tech
Atlanta continues to address the front seven. He will be good with Boley.
49. Philadelphia- Early Doucet WR LSU
The Eagles need help at receiver, and Doucet is a good blocker as well.
50. Arizona- Fred Davis TE USC
Davis gives the Cards a weapon to use in the seam. Pope hasn't done much.
51. Washington- James Hardy WR Indiana
Moss and Randle El lack size. Hardy is big and gives them a different target.
52. Tampa Bay- Chris Johnson RB East Carolina
More speed for the Bucs offense, Johnson can score on any play.
53. Pittsburgh- Justin King CB Penn State
Mike Tomlin was at his workout and he could maximize King's potential.
54. Tennessee- Chris Ellis DE Virginia Tech
The Titans lost a few ends in free agency and Ellis is a long-term answer.
55. Seattle- Dustin Keller TE Purdue
The Seahawks need a TE. If Keller was a good blocker he might be a first.
56. Green Bay- Roy Schuening OG Oregon State
Schuening is a good player that could go sooner. He will battle to start.
57. Miami- Chad Henne QB Michigan
The Dolphins need a quarterback of the future, and reportedly like him.
58. Jacksonville- Kendall Langford DE Hampton
He's big, nasty, and a consistent sacker. Reunited with Justin Durant.
59. Indianapolis- Tavares Gooden LB Miami
Will battle to start from day one and can play the middle for the Colts.
60. Green Bay- John Carlson TE Notre Dame
The Packers use lots of two tight end sets, and Bubba Franks is gone.
61. Dallas- Tracey Porter CB Indiana
They need a nickel back and a young corner. Porter fills the need.
62. New England- Beau Bell LB UNLV
Bell has the size and blitzing ability to thrive for the Patriots.
63. New York Giants- Patrick Lee CB Auburn
Lee is a good fit for the way coordinator Spagnulo likes to play his corners.

3rd Round

64. Miami- Red Bryant DT Texas A&M
Perfect fit for a nose tackle in the 3-4. Parcells starts day two on the line.
65. St. Louis- Jordy Nelson WR Kansas State
The Rams need a receiver behind Holt, Bennett. Nelson has good size, speed.
66. Kansas City- Charles Godfrey CB Iowa
The Chiefs have a big hole at corner. Godfrey is Herm Edwards type of player.
67. Carolina- Ray Rice RB Rutgers
Rice gives the Panthers a nice compliment to new starter DeAnglo Williams.
68. Atlanta- Dre Moore DT Maryland
Moore has tons of potential. He could be a great replacement for Rod Coleman.
69. New England- John Greco OT Toledo
Can play either tackle spot, and Patriots could use help on the right side.
70. Chicago- Tom Zbikowkski S Notre Dame
Mike Brown can't stay healthy, and Lovie Smith needs a Lynch type.
71. Jacksonville- Andre Caldwell WR Florida
The odyssey continues for Jaguars at WR. Caldwell is well-rounded.
72. Buffalo- Martin Rucker TE Missouri
The Bills get Missouri's all-time leading receiver.
73. Kansas City- Eric Young G Tennessee
Young is a poor man's Arron Sears. The Chiefs get a good partner with Albert.
74. Carolina- Thomas DeCoud S California
Chris Harris was a good addition. DeCoud gives them a nice compliment.
75. San Francisco- Drew Radovich OG USC
Radovich plays with a mean streak and will be a good replacement for Smiley.
76. Detroit- Duane Brown OT Virginia Tech
Millen has to help this unit. Brown is athletic, but needs strength.
77. Cincinnati- Eddie Royal WR Virginia Tech
Receiver wasn't a need when they took Chris Henry.
78. New Orleans- Jermichael Finley TE Texas
Eric Johnson and Billy Miller don't help Drew Brees all that much. Finley can.
79. Houston- Erin Henderson LB Maryland
Brought in a few free agent LB's but Henderson will be good long-term.
80. Philadelphia- Tony Hills OT Texas
Has the athleticism to develop into a starting left tackle.
81. Arizona- Jason Jones DE Eastern Michigan
Jones is a power end that can play some tackle and fits the Cardinals defense.
82. Kansas City- Mario Manningham WR Michigan
The Chiefs need a receiver to play opposite Dwayne Bowe.
83. Tampa Bay- Jack Williams CB Kent State
Williams is a tough competitor with great speed. He fits the Bucs defense well.
84. Washington- DaJuan Morgan S North Carolina State
Morgan has been a consistent player and will be a nice compliment for Landry.
85. Tennessee- Jamaal Charles RB Texas
He's a nice change of pace back to pair with LenDale White.
86. Seattle- Mike McGlynn G Pittsburgh
Needs to add bulk but is a good fit for a west coast offense.
87. Detroit- Jeremy Thompson DE Wake Forest
Sophomore injury limited his junior year but senior year he showed his skills.
88. Pittsburgh- Adarius Bowman WR Oklahoma State
A poor Senior Bowl dropped Bowman who had big years as a junior and senior.
89. Jacksonville- Tyrell Johnson S Arkansas State
An in the box safety that will make a good pair with Reggie Nelson.
90. Chicago- Steve Slaton RB West Virginia
Slaton is a good change of pace from Cedric Benson and will challenge to play.
91. Green Bay- John David Booty QB USC
He may be the most ready QB mentally in the draft. He's a nice backup.
92. Dallas- Marcus Griffin S Texas
The Cowboys stay in state and get a good safety for secondary depth.
93. Indianapolis- Chad Rinehart G Northern Iowa
The Colts have a hole at guard and Rinehart helps the future line with Ugoh.
94. New England- Kevin Smith RB Central Florida
Best player available almost broke Barry Sanders single season rushing record.
95. New York Giants- Xavier Adibi LB Virginia Tech
Adibi is a steal here in the draft, with Mayo they have handled linebacker.
96. Washington- Andre Woodson QB Kentucky
A terrible Senior Bowl hurt his status, but he was one of the SEC's best.
97. Cincinnati- King Dunlap OT Auburn
Willie Anderson is close to the end. Dunlap is another Auburn product to follow.
98. Atlanta- Martellus Bennett TE Texas A&M
The new tight end is needed to replace Crumpler. Bennett could go earlier.
99. Baltimore- Geno Hayes LB Florida State
Ravens need youth at LB and can take advantage of Hayes pass rush.

I wouldn't like it if we passed on Jonathon Stewart.

Having Chris Johnson fall to the Bucs at #52 is more than wishful thinking IMO

I don't know if Donnie Avery is a 1st rounder......

Perhaps not by the consensus of "experts" he may not be rated a first rounder, but that does not mean he does not warrant the pick. If the Bucs like him enough, and he probably won't be there at 52, then take him. How many first round picks end up not being worth the pick after the fact? How many later round pick would you go back and pick earlier knowing now what we do?
Not picking someone because you think they are not "a first founder" is the wrong way to approach it.

If our first pick is a reciever I'm gonna sh#t a hobbyhorse ! Not a single reciever is worth this pick-period...I think a later pick on a CB is fine,we have several battle tested players & a rook would be cake.We either need a DE or a RB here. Its too high for Johnson and we will never see him by our pick in the second. We need a do all back-a running, catching, returning threat.Dunn is older, earnest has had one good season and Benett is hopefully up to speed. That does noting for the next 5 years. The future is now,the running game is the heart of our offense.Colt Brennen in the 4th!!give him 2 years to learn and beef up-
Any way it ends up going,I wish the Bucs much success in 2008.And to our draft picks-welcome to our team.Go Bucs!!

Hate our draft, but why would the Rams want to move Carricker back outside when there is another nice looking option for them in Chris Long? Carricker was naturally in the 290's during the draft, and will only get bigger, plus they already made him add weight last season. He could slim down, but he's never going to be a 275 end. He's just big. Now, given that and his quickness, he's perfectly suited to play inside. On the outside, he wouldn't be half the pass rusher he could be on the inside. So you're either looking at a rush DT in Dorsey to go with a run defending DE in Carricker, or a balanced duo of Carricker at DT and Long at DE (who, while smaller, can still hold up very well against the run). I think the Rams are looking at a no-brainer. Carricker is just too big at DE IMO. And he's not Mario Williams.

Speaking of Jonathan Stewart, I spoke to the father of a guy that played with him at Oregon in 2006. I wish the Bucs would take a look at him. His name is WR James Finley #18. He's got alot of qualities that Jon Gruden likes in a WR. He's 6'2 and can beat the jam. He's a very physical WR and was even listed on the Offensive Lineman Pancake Board with multiple pancakes on blocks. The Sporting News also voted him as having the best hands in the entire Pac 10. He was given a tryout last year at the Chicago Bears minicamp and was told that he was the best and most consistent WR there as he didn't drop a pass in three days. GM Jerry Angelo contacted his agent Archie Chaney at CCB Sport Mgmt. and told him that he wanted to sign him, but couldn't due to a pending legal issue at the time. The case later ended up being dropped but it was too late for him in 2007 since the rosters had already been set. He has no other issues. He's been working out with Coach Rick Hagedorn of Speedburners and has shaved over a tenth of a second off of his forty time. He's now running in the 4.5's
