Bucs Place RB Williams On PUP List |

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers adjusted their roster on Friday night by cutting three players. They also placed Carnell Williams and Luke Petitgout on the physically unable to perform list. The Bucs roster is now set at the league-mandated 80-man roster limit.
After the Buccaneers players reported for training camp on Friday, the Bucs made some moves to have their roster in shape for the start of practice on Saturday morning. The Buccaneers waived injured seventh-round pick Cory Boyd. If Boyd clears waivers, Tampa Bay is planning on signing Boyd and placing him on the injured reserve.
Running back Carnell "Cadillac" Williams and left tackle Luke Petitgout have been placed on the active physically unable to perform (PUP) list. The two players count towards the 80-man roster, and if they are placed on the inactive PUP list then they would be forced to miss the first six games of the regular season.
Two other players were cut on Friday. They were wide receiver Taye Biddle and linebacker Teddy Lehman.
