The Buccaneers didn't escape their first day of training camp at Disney's Wide World of Sports complex without injury.

Tampa Bay practiced without cornerback Torrie Cox on Sunday after he suffered a knee injury during Saturday afternoon's workout.

The severity of the injury is unknown, but needless to say it's worrisome since the sixth-year player was placed on injured reserve on Oct. 31 with a torn ACL he sustained last year.

"I don't know [if he's okay]," Bucs head coach Jon Gruden said. "We're going to evaluate him closely here in the next couple of days. Whether he sprained his knee or if it's more than that we'll have to find out. We'll tell you as soon as we can."

Bucs safety Tanard Jackson and wide receiver Antonio Bryant left Sunday morning's practice early, but Gruden insisted their problems stemmed from dehydration issues.

"Just cramps," Gruden said of Bryant and Jackson.

Tampa Bay wide receiver Joey Galloway, who has a mild groin strain, missed his second consecutive day of practice on Sunday. Although he missed practice, Galloway did run wind sprints with running back Cadillac Williams (torn patellar tendon) while trainer Todd Toriscelli observed during the morning session.

"The flight has been delayed," Gruden said of Galloway. "He has a mild groin strain. I'm told he'll be back in a matter of days. We need him."
