Clayton is better than a lot of free agent receivers available. I have a feeling he may do better in a different system.

I think that Clayton is a lot better then people think also> You got to remember that Gruden went away from him a lot being that isn't going to give clayton a lot of confidence either. I think that in a new system that he will be better and he's a lot faster then people think. He got open a lot more then that ball was thrown his way. the fact that the ucs are already working on resigning him tells me a lot about the player he can be when you get a true OC in here who isnt the head coach

A down field attack needs a crossing option as a decoy/opportunity when the down field receiver is covered. He also had the disadvantage this year of a QB who wanted to do it all.

Why are we even talking about Clayton? He had an excellent rookie season, followed by YEARS of mediocrity. Now, he mouths off about Jon Gruden, like he has a leg to stand on. . . Get rid of this punk and re-start with new talent. The more we waste time talking about Clayton's futility, is less time we take talking about the future of the Bucs. The NFL is a "what-have-you-done-for-me-lately" league, and Clayton has pretty much done NOTHING as of late.
