Faine Sidelined A Few Weeks With Triceps Injury

PewterReport.com has the latest news from One Buc Place, where Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Raheem Morris held a noon press conference one day after his team suffered a 34-21 loss to the Dallas Cowboys.

In injury-related news, Bucs starting center Jeff Faine will be sidelined "a few weeks" with a triceps injury, according to Morris. While backup C Jonathan Compass is a candidate to replace Faine, the Bucs will look at all options, including re-signing Sean Mahan or moving guard Jeremy Zuttah from left guard to center.

"We're going to look on our roster and off our roster," Morris said regarding the center position.

Zuttah is dealing with an injury of his own, an ankle ailment, but he's listed as day-to-day and told Pewter Report he was fine on Monday. Wide receiver Antonio Bryant (knee) will be monitored weekly, but should be able to play vs. Buffalo.

PewterReport.com will have more on this story throughout the day.
