UPDATED: The Bucs took the practice field Friday to continue preparing for the undefeated Saints. The Bucs' injured players have official statuses for Sunday's game Bucs WR Antonio Bryant is probable, but CB Elbert Mack was added to the report and is questionable. The Saints have a number of starters out for the game.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers should enter Sunday's game vs. the undefeated New Orleans Saints almost completely healthy.

Bucs wide receiver Antonio Bryant practiced for the third straight day. That's a good sign since Bryant missed Tampa Bay's last two games with a lingering knee injury. The Bucs feel fairly confident that Bryant will play Sunday, but fans should still expect to see Maurice Stovall worked into the rotation.

"It's encouraging," Bucs head coach Raheem Morris said of Bryant. "There's no guarantee that nothing will happen overnight in regards to the knee, so we just have to be hopeful. It was encouraging for Antonio. He looked decent and as good as he's looked all year on the practice field."

Tampa Bay cornerback Aqib Talib (hamstring), running back Cadillac Williams (knee), quarterback Byron Leftwich (elbow) and tight end Kellen Winslow (knee) had full participation in Friday's practice. They are listed as probable.

Bucs cornerback Elbert Mack was added to the injury report Friday after re-aggravating an ankle injury in practice. He is listed as questionable. Should Mack not be able to go, Bucs CB Torrie Cox would play nickel in his place against the Saints, who have the No. 1 offense in the NFL.

"He's been fighting it and he banged it again," said Morris. "New Orleans is a three-wide football team. They're comfortable running that and work a plethora of guys in. Elbert has been fighting through it. He's a tough young man. They all are. We'll see what happens."

When asked if safety Tanard Jackson, who played cornerback at Syracuse and has seen some action at corner in Tampa, would play at cornerback vs. the Saints, Morris suggested the team would like to leave him at his natural position.

The Saints have injury issues heading into this game, which kicks off at 1:00 p.m. Sunday.

New Orleans running back Reggie Bush (knee) and defensive tackle Sedrick Ellis (knee) is questionable. Ruled out for the game is cornerback Jabari Greer (groin), cornerback Tracy Porter (knee), and wide receiver Lance Moore (ankle). Center Jonathan Goodwin (ankle), safety Darren Sharper (knee) and tight end David Thomas (knee) are all probable.

I know many here have bashed Mack, but I think he is a good Nickel back. Not great, he definately can improve, but a good nickel guy.

Torrie Cox is probably better than Mack anyway.

I would rather see Antonio Bryant come back completly healed and have an unbelievable last 7 games of the season (like atleast 11 or more TD's) and work out a contract and have another WR for the next few years than have AB come back, not healed, slow and out of time and have this thing end ugly with him and in need of more than one WR next year..........just say'n.

Bryant is yesterdays receiver-

Not saying that if he's healed AB will do amazing,i would just rather see him back at the top of his game and give us another weapon now and in the future rather than have to draft or get another WR in FA because he dont perform and things go sour.

If Bryant comes out and kicks ass everybody will forget about the few games he was out with injury..............and that's the truth.

and his comments..........if he kicks ass.........and not saying he will........lol.

Wither AB stays here or leaves next year,if he dont kick ass his pay will drop way down so you know his got some work to do if he wants to get them BIG paychecks.

With the Bucs always playing from behind and with Freeman's arm AB has got a chance to put up some yardage and TD's to make his stock rise the last 7 games of the year.

I find it funny how all of you have so much faith in AB. You all know that he WILL NOT be here next year, right ? Are you guys aware that Dummynik can't stand him and never wanted him here from the get go ? IMO I believe AB is not as hurt as he claims at all. I think he see's the handwriting on the wall regarding the direction the team has been going ever since Radio took over and realizes that he better get healthy so next year when he's a free agent he can get the pay day he's been asking for. Hey trapper you say that he's got work to do if he wants those " BIG paychecks " ? Well he did the work last year, it's all on film. So this year he takes his time to get healthy, next year he hits free agency and gets his pay day from a team that is one player away from becoming a super bowel contender. To be honest with you I 'd rather see Sammy Stroughter and Maurice Stovall get most of the playing time and let them show what they can do, because Sammy looks like he could be something special. Not to mention so they can build a good quarterback/wide receiver relationship with Josh.

Sorry I should have said some of you, not all of you. Pertaining to the faith in AB.

I think AB and his agent both know that he will land a bigger contract next year based on this years performance. AB didn't make it this far just to quit. He had knee surgery a few weeks ago. I have been an Orthopedics nurse and I can't imagine how anyone could expect peak performance from a football player who relies on agility and cuts in and out of routes after any procedure Orthoscopic or not.

Easy to judge a man when you have never been in his cleats. Where did you play ball again 99?

6:31pm, November 20, 2009

pewter2

Looked it up. He had a torn meniscus. I believe the surgery was in late August. If it was an arthoscopic repair its likely still swelling and painful at times. He probably came back way to early initially.

Hard to stop or cut like a pro athlete when your worried about blowing your knee.

I just don't think its fair to challenge an athletes character and integrity after a surgery that would take any of us 4 months of rehab to get back to our normal workout routines.

Did i mention faith...........NO!............did i say he would perform .................NO !.............but if he does kick as this year and they can smooth this out than why get rid of him to get someone else.....................I bet you loved him last year 99.........
If he gets healthy and kicks ass whats wrong with him staying a Buc.Almost all the great WR's have attitude think to highly of them selves, probably why they all ball good...........He wont get a BIG PAYCHECK if he sucks these last 5 games..............period.......with anybody..........Your a typical fan.........AB got hurt and has been hurt so he must go even though there's 7 games left to prove his still a top WR........... oh yeah he's still the best WR the BUcs got but screw him ...... he wasnt healthy so lets write him off before he gets back healthy............typical negative fan..........the season aint over yet but dont wait and see how things work out just get rid off him..................LOL...............Funny how you say i have faith in him when i specically said "not saying he will be amazing"
Learn how to read before you speak....DUHHHHH!!!!!!!

(example) people cutting on Freeman for 6 months before he's ever played.................LOL.............f*%king redicilous negative people.............like i said before ....i would rather see AB perform and things work out than lose our best WR sine Keyshaun Johnson...................that would make to much sense.

Dominick didnt want AB here so he gave him 9 million to play one year...............BS !!!!! Gm's dont give $9 miilion and franchise a player because they (dont like them) and want them here..................BS !!!!!!

99 in your opinion AB isnt as hurt as he says..............like you would know...........just because of one comment you know how well he can cut on that leg and get separation...............LOL A lot of you ASSume alot on here................LOL !!!!!!

7:11pm, November 20, 2009

pewterpirate99

Hey ass clown, what makes you think Antonio even wants to be here next year? Or what makes you think Dominik is going to give him any kind of extension, big or small? Dominik does not like this guy and if he is the GM still next year, he's not going to have him on this team. And by the way where the FUCK in my entire post did you read that I wanted him gone????!!!!!! I'm not a typical negative fan, I'm a realistic fan that knows a 1-15 or 2-14 team when he sees it. Oh and by the way, who the fuck says I was referring to you ? It was a general post for all of the AB supporters to have another point of view.

Again, considering the teams left on their schedule I don't see them winning any more games, maybe the Jets game and that's a big maybe.

pewter2, I'm not doubting that he's hurt. All I'm saying is that he's not going to push himself and kill himself to get out there on the field for a team that is going nowhere. When he can take his time heal fully and get himself ready for free agency.

7:28pm, November 20, 2009

pewterpirate99

Hey moron they gave him $9 million because they weren't going to invest a long term deal with this guy knowing of his past history. They wanted to see whether he can repeat his performance from last year. It's a good thing they didn't. They have already wasted enough money resigning "Skillet Hands" Clayton. It's a trickle down effect. You have to have talent in the front office to be able to evaluate and draft talent and this team does not have the talent in the front office.

7:38pm, November 20, 2009

Horse

pewter2, hey I have a lot of respect for you. I am just saying that for 9 mil, I expected more from him. Maybe Morris or Domiinck should have supported AB? All I know is that so many have played with knees like him, but then they were under pressure to stay in football because they needed the money. AB has millions, so there is no pressure for him. I'm just saying next year he will be 30 and a proven player who can't play with injuries. I doubt he will get any kind of a big contract..
These guys who play big because of contract renewals are the guys I would be careful about.. Penn is the next one that we will waste money on. As soon as he signs a big contract, he will go to the donut shop and avoid weights and practice. Just my opinion.

8:35pm, November 20, 2009

pewterpirate99

Uh Oh Horse you better be careful, you might considered a typical negative fan for having an opinion that isn't all rah rah ( no pun intended ) and positive.

8:44pm, November 20, 2009

pewter2

I'd be thrilled to see the Glaziers waste money on Penn. I'd be happy to see them spend money on anything related to our team at all. (Not you Michael Clayton) It isn't easy to find a left tackle. Part of being a GM is being able to evaluate the guys who are committed and the ones that will get lazy. I always thought that the reason they went with Booger over Sapp was because they figured Sapp was going to get fat and lazy once he got the big contract..

Anyone know where I can purchase a set of stone hands to send to Clayton?

10:48pm, November 20, 2009

scubog

As coaches say, "The best ability is availability." For whatever reason, AB hasn't been available. Now that he has healed enough to play, let's see what he does the remainder of the season. It is sure better for the team if he is able to repeat his 2008 performance.

6:25am, November 21, 2009

trapper

Hey PP99 You say you were making a general post..... than why is my name in your post.............talk about an ASS CLOWN !!!!!!!!

And no shit why they gave him 9 million..........you still dont give it to somebody who you dont like..............dipshit !!!!!

And i never said he would stay............if you can read........... ASS CLOWN !!!!!!
I wouldnt have even replyed back to you IF YOU DIDNT PUT MY NAME IN YOUR POST..................ASS CLOWN!!!!!!!!
Than your guessing on wither they know how to draft...........they have only had one draft and we dont know how these players will be yet.........So your taking a negative guess that they dont know how to draft.
If you mix REALITY with NEGAITISM you get a PESSIMIST ...... NOT a REALIST...............ASS CLOWN !!!!!

Step away from the Bong and put the cap back on your Zanax .................RETARD !!!!!!
And if you dont want me to comment back than dont put my name in your "General Post"
F*%KING KIDS ON HERE.............GROW UP !!!!!!
