Lightning Cuts Practice Short

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers practiced today, which is unusual for a Tuesday since it normally is the players' day off. However, with Thanksgiving on Thursday, the Bucs decided to add a bonus practice as they prepare for the Atlanta Falcons.

Unfortunately for the Bucs, their practice was cut short this afternoon by severe weather in the Tampa Bay area. The players ran into One Buc Place after lightning struck within miles of the facility.

Bucs head coach Raheem Morris said after practice that the team missed two periods as a result of the storm. Morris plans to work those two missed periods of practice into another workout this week.

Tampa Bay has a full practice scheduled for Wednesday followed by half practices on Thursday and Friday.

Well, the coach now blame it on the lighting if we don't beat the falcons
