Nunn Leaving For Giants |
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers had another change on their coaching staff Wednesday.
Bucs defensive line coach Robert Nunn reportedly was given permission to leave the team to join the New York Giants as their new defensive line coach.
Nunn's departure doesn't leave the Bucs without a defensive line coach, though. The Bucs had two coaches hold that title last year when Nunn was hired by then-defensive coordinator Jim Bates to work with holdover defensive line coach Todd Wash, who remains with the team.
Nunn is the second assistant coach the Bucs have allowed out of a contract in as many days. Bucs general manager Mark Dominik made a special exception for linebackers coach Joe Barry to leave for USC on Tuesday.

Did you even read any of the post? I did and no one wrote anything about being disapointed that Nunn is leaving. From what I read everyone seems pretty happy he's gone. He did do anything here anyway. Learn to read num nuts.

Then they could that hard earned american money and spend it overseas on a bloated soccer team !
Coaches and assistants have mouths to feed, they will take jobs that offer the most security. Those jobs are usually found on well run, winning franchises,Tampa is not one of them..Also,signing with a new coach like a Carroll-with a proven track record, those coaches are looking at a few good years of solid employment.Morris has been promised nothing and is a lame duck coach on a team lacking a direction. This along with the cap free season possibility, anyone who can find a better job with another team will take it...Its job security...Tampa fired Gruden and Allen, reputable football guys-and replaced them with who?-Whats his name again?
Until we make it through the rest of Mr. Toads wild ride-which probably wont end til 2011,this team is a big open wound..
Hopefully we will find a few solid players in the draft that will make watching next year at least some what palatable ...
We are rebuilding....at some point....think of the coming season as a kind of halt of construction..We may fire and hire some guys during that time, but nothing in Tampa seems very solid these days...

Funny, for weeks PR has been suggesting that Robert Nunn was not expected to remain with the coaching staff primarily due to his connection to Jim Bates and the fact that the DL was not exactly stellar under his guidance and would be released.
Now some of you take this coaching departure and use it to satisfy your own agenda that coaches are "abandoning ship" for improved job security or the Glazers have no money to meet payroll.
Every year coaches go from one team to another for whatever their personal reasons are. Perhaps Nunn read Pewter Report that he was likely going to be released. What do a lot of people do when they are worried about being fired? They quit.

Maybe you should learn how to read. As the first post says "abandon ship". And, if theres one post out there, that usually means more than one person shares the smae perspective. Who says 'num nuts' any more? Seriously.

You may be able to read. What you lack is the capacity to comprehend what you are reading, As the term "abandon ship" means nothing about being ''disappointed'' or ''heartbroken'' that Nunn is gone. You're one of thoes homers that post ridiculous comments just to get a response.
