A Kansas State University public relations major, Reynolds became a full-time reporter with Buccaneer Magazine as soon as he graduated from K-State with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications in 1995.
Reynolds has become known as one of the top Bucs beat writers in the Tampa Bay area by breaking stories in Pewter Report magazine and PewterReport.com, and has become one of the foremost experts on the Buccaneers. His football knowledge and penchant for delivering the inside scoop on the Bucs comes through in his regular SR’s Fab Five column on PewterReport.com, and Buccaneer Blitz column that appears in the Pewter Report magazine.
No one outworks Reynolds when it comes to delivering the inside scoop on the Buccaneers on a regular basis. He began following the Buccaneers as a subscriber to then-Buccaneer Magazine in 1992, and landed an internship with the publication in 1994. In 1995, Reynolds, a noted Bucs draft expert, became editor-in-chief of the publication and in his first issue, accurately predicted the Bucs’ selection of DE Regan Upshaw with the Bucs’ first pick of the 1995 NFL Draft. Since the sale of Pewter Report in June of 2006, Reynolds has been promoted to the role of publisher and is more involved on the business side of Pewter Report will still maintaining his press credentials.
In addition to helping cover the Buccaneers with on-line articles and commentary on PewterReport.com, Reynolds is in charge of producing each issue of Pewter Report from a layout and graphic design aspect, and also writes many of the feature articles in the publication.
When not at One Buccaneer Place, Reynolds hosts a highly-rated, weekly radio show during the football season called the PewterReport.com Buccaneer Blitz on WDAE 620 AM with Steve Duemig. The PewterReport.com Buccaneer Blitz show is broadcast at 5:00 p.m. ET and is considered to be the most insightful radio show on the Buccaneers. Reynolds also makes regular television appearances on Bay News 9’s Sports Connection, Catch 47’s Bucs Xtra Point and Fox 13 to discuss the Buccaneers.
Born in Alexandria, Virginia and raised in Overland Park, Kansas (outside of Kansas City), Reynolds lives in Lutz, Florida with his wife, Elisa, their kids, Ellie and Logan, and dogs, Manley and Jackson.
