Featured Bio
Emily Gagnon joined the Pewter Report team in 2008 and has followed the Tampa Bay Buccaneers since high school.

Born and raised in Canada, Emily moved to Orlando to complete high school and relocated to Tampa to attend the University of South Florida. Go Bulls!

A USF broadcast journalism major, Gagnon graduated Cum Laude from USF in the summer of 2007. With French as her first language, Emily completed her senior year in Spain and earned her minor in Spanish, making her trilingual.

During her time at USF, Emily interned in the Creative Services Department at ABC Action News, creating commercials. She looks forward to working with ABC Action News again as a member of the Pewter Report team.

Emily also produced news stories for WFLA-TV before moving on to Fox 13, where she took her passion for the Buccaneers to a new level in their sports department.

While pursuing her degree at USF Emily worked for Palestra.com, covering all of the university's sports.

Emily also interned and worked with Sun Sports as a production assistant at several different sporting events, ranging from the Tampa Bay Lightning to the Florida Gators to the Orland Magic. She was also given the opportunity to report at a cheerleading event.

In addition to working with Sun Sports, Emily freelanced with ESPN as a production assistant for Monday Night Baseball, covering the Tampa Bay Rays and other events.

When she is not working, Emily loves to run and can't live without her IPod. She loves to talk on the phone with her sister, who is a graphic designer with ESPN and with her two best friends, one of which is a reporter located in Mississippi. Emily also enjoys eating and spending time with her family.

Emily loves the Florida sun, sweet tea and SEC football due to the fact that it was the first college football she was exposed to. She is thrilled to be covering the Buccaneers as a reporter/videographer for Pewter Report and PewterReport.com.
