IMO the uniforms need to go back to the drawing board for some modifications. They have not grown on me and I believe we could have done much better. At least Carter got the right pick with Winston,no comment on Dilfer.

Agreed there Kinderrt… As a graphic designer, I think it’s too trendy and trying to pick up a quick buck. I the best unis in college are Penn St., Notre Dame; In the pros, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Chicago… very simple, but iconic. They should go back to the Superbowl unis and tweak them from there. Carter sounds like a true fan; good deal. e

e.. As a graphic designer maybe you could call the Buc’s and help them out on the uni’s. Nike sure was no help, I agree, simpler is better as their was nothing wrong with the OLD ones.

And for the record, I still think the creamsicles are iconic… Love ’em or hate ’em… e

E, I cant tell you for a fact Nick LOVES his Bucs as much if not more than any of us. Hell I wouldnt be surprised if hes reading this right now, and interacted with us from time to time on the boards. I remember this one time, it mustve been during the “Unbreakable” tour I think about 7 or 8 years ago, we were all at the club celebrating his birthday…..You know what nevermind…..

All the information you collect in any given year and this is what PR puts up? OMG!! SMH!! How far PR has fallen. So disappointing..

Deacon Blues – We have PLENTY of hardcore Bucs news and information on here, including a recent story on Jameis Winston and a 5,000-word SR’s Fab 5 full of free agency and draft insight. Nick Carter is a huge Bucs fan and this was a cool, different kind of article. Don’t worry … PR will continue to have plenty of combine coverage, free agency previews draft previews in the coming days, weeks and months.

I’m with those folks who believe the uniforms need to be reworked… Thanks to Nikes over design the Bucs look like freakin Space Pirates which aren’t scaring anyone…We have a freakin skull in our logo yet we came out looking more Pirates of Penzance and less Dark Sails- big mistake… We were shown helmet options that were edgier than just making the flag bigger on the helmets- we should make changes as soon as freakin possible- especially if we are in the market for a franchise QB and the beginning of a new era for the Bucs.the uniforms were perfect for last season- a bunch of flash and promise that gave way to more disappointment and need for change…

Taking any QB number one overall scares the hell out of me. Both Winston And Mariota have risk. Hope we get it right. Trent dilfer? Lol. Old happy feet. Never had much protection but man was he terrible here! Yes I agree with all others too the uniforms suck. Hated them when I first saw them and have not grown on me either. Old ones much better.

One thing for sure he brought up a bad subject meaning the Bucs unis. Sounds like more people dislike them then like them. Maybe we could have a due over with FAN input and judges. I’m sure we as fans we could make a better choice and give the Bucs a great PR tool. FANS vote and select NEW uniforms for team, a first for the NFL.

I remember when the Miami Heat were first formed in ’88, they put out a call to fans to design a logo for the team and they printed the top 50 in the paper and the fans voted for the winner… A much better way to connect the team with the fans than have a bunch of teenage shoe designers in Oregon deciding the visual fate of the Bucs. e

+ 1,000,000. “Everybody” (see what I did there) can have an opinion on their music, which is fair, but having met and been able to hang out with them, I can truly say theyre some of the nicest guys youll ever meet. Not stuck up at all and VERY appreciative of the fans and the blessings that have been bestowed upon them.

Poor Nick Carter. He has a two part article about him and the conversation turned to the uniform design. Me, I liked the ones before Phil Nike “modernized” them. It’s like your wife gets a face lift and afterwards looks like Joan Rivers.
