    It’s obvious that the front office believes that the poor defensive backfield play last season was attributable to poor coaching.

    I’m sure that was part of the problem, Ronald but not entirely.
    Tandy actually put together a pretty good year as a backup including a great game against the Bears.
    This deal probably didn’t oost the Bucs much which the cheapskate Glazer boys desire the most.
    They count every penny that walks out the door.

      It just never ends with you. Apparently you have no concept of the teams having to spend a given % on player salaries now. The days of Culverhouse pocketing it are well behind us.

    I’m a bit surprised that they’d let both Lansanah & Carter go, as they were both able to fill in pretty well@ MLB when needed. At some point, I’d like to see “they have some promising young talent they are excited about”- as opposed to: “they can save cap $ by making this cut, and bringing in a younger players”
