At the start of the season it looked like Iowa’s Adrian Clayborn would be a sure-fire Top 10 pick but a disappointing senior campaign and an influx of top underclassmen at his position will likely lead to a bit of a slide on Draft Day. However, his blend of size, speed and power plus a non-stop motor makes Clayborn one of the better all-around defensive ends in this class. Others who appear to be on Tampa Bay’s radar include Missouri’s Aldon Smith, Purdue’s Ryan Kerrigan and Georgia’s Justin Houston. If by some chance they don’t go with a defensive end, look for the Buccaneers to grab an outside linebacker and UCLA’s Akeem Ayers might be an option worth considering.
