SOOOO over preseason!!...... "Hate"

Saw it on SportsCenter.  Quite disturbing. 

Horrible.. R.I.P. He was a hell of a driver and from all accounts a very good guy.

RIP, thoughts and prayers to the family.

Shame on who ever put that on there!
I have seen it 3 times and the network is really reluctant to show it.
It should not be seen by young kids or those sensitive to such things.
That is after all a man dieing a horrible death and he had to know it!
By the way .....The search option is your friend HATE!

RIP Scott Kalitta.  My thoughts are with his family.  As others have pointed out, if they had built the sand pit at the end of the strip he may have very well been alive and driving today.

It had a sand pit at the end. It was too short with a retaining wall at the end of it. He probably loss consciousness from the initial explosion. That car never slowed at all before the trap
