The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have apparently found the fourth quarterback they want to bring to training camp.

The Bucs have agreed to terms on a two-year contract with Pittsburgh free agent QB Byron Leftwich.

Leftwich, 29, visited the Bucs Thursday and considered offers from Washington and Pittsburgh before opting to sign with Tampa Bay, where he will compete with Luke McCown, Josh Johnson and Brian Griese for the starting job.

The 6-foot-5, 250-pound Leftwich has completed 58.6 percent of his passes for 9,624 yards and tossed 54 touchdowns and 38 interceptions since entering the league as a first-round draft pick out of Marshall in 2003.

Leftwich, who has also rushed for nine touchdowns, began his career with Jacksonville, but has spent the past two seasons with Atlanta and Pittsburgh, respectively. He has started a total of 46 games during his NFL career.

Tampa Bay will reportedly work out Kansas State QB Josh Freeman next week. He is a player the Bucs were believed to be targeting with the 19th overall pick in the 2009 NFL Draft, but that thinking could change now that the Bucs are adding Leftwich to their stable of signal callers.
