Pewter Report will be hitting the airwaves on WDAE 620 AM just before training camp on Wed., July 29 with the return of PewterReport.com Buccaneer Blitz show. Pewter Report will also be taking on a larger, official reporting role with WDAE this year, syndicating its non-premium Bucs content on 620WDAE.com

For the 11th consecutive year, Pewter Report will be bringing its insight and inside scoop to the airwaves on 620 AM WDAE, the official A.M. flagship station of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The partnership once again includes Pewter Report publisher Scott Reynolds teaming up with top-rated afternoon host Steve “Big Dog” Duemig for the quite popular PewterReport.com Buccaneer Blitz radio show, which will be heard each Wednesday at 5:00 p.m. from the start of training camp through the end of football season.

The show debuts for the 2009 season on Wednesday, July 29 before the start of Buccaneers training camp. The shows in August will be broadcast on location live from the practice fields at One Buccaneer Place.

"Our partnership with Pewter Report is going on its 11th year. 620 WDAE is excited to continue the relationship," said WDAE Programming Director Mike Killabrew. "Scott Reynolds and his staff have provided 620 WDAE with 11 years of information on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers you can’t get anywhere else."

Reynolds is ready to serve up the inside scoop for Sports Animal listeners, many of whom are already Pewter Report subscribers.

"WDAE is the top-rated sports radio station in central Florida because the station excels at giving its listeners what they want, which is compelling sports conversation covering the hot button topics of the day along with the latest news in the world of sports," Reynolds said. "The role Pewter Report plays is to bring our unique brand of reporting on the Bucs to WDAE to take the home of 'the best Bucs coverage' to a new level.

"I have immensely enjoyed working with Steve Duemig over the past 10 years and sharing an hour of his afternoon show. We both spend an awful lot of time watching and dissecting pro and college football, and when we engage in a conversation about the Buccaneers we offer up viewpoints and insight that Tampa Bay fans can’t get anywhere else."

In addition to the PewterReport.com Buccaneer Blitz, Pewter Report will take on an enhanced reporting role with WDAE during Bucs football season. Starting in training camp on August 1, Pewter Report will become WDAE's official Bucs Internet reporters by syndicating its non-premium content to readers on 620WDAE.com in an effort to reach a new audience of Bucs fans and provide 620WDAE.com with even more Buccaneers stories and breaking news.

The Pewter Report editorial staff will also serve as an extension of the WDAE reporting team, doing live call-ins to alert Sports Animal listeners to major Buccaneers news during camp and during football season.
