Cadillac Won't Play In First Two Preseason Games

PewterReport.com is reporting that Bucs running back Cadillac Williams will not play in Tampa Bay's preseason opener at Tennessee on Saturday night or the team's second exhibition contest at Jacksonville.

Bucs head coach Raheem Morris said the decision to hold Williams, who is coming off two major knee injuries in as many years, until Tampa Bay's third preseason game vs. Miami, was a precautionary one, and that Williams was completely healthy and ready to play if needed.

Several other players will be held out of Saturday night's game vs. the Titans, including center Jeff Faine (groin), wide receivers Antonio Bryant (knee surgery), Michael Clayton (hamstring) and Kelly Campbell (quad), linebacker Angelo Crowell (hamstring), kicker Matt Bryant (hamstring) and punter Josh Bidwell (hip).
