The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will clash with the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 2 of the 2009 preseason on Saturday night. What happened the last time these two teams met? How did the Jaguars fare last season? Pewter Report has a preview of Saturday night's Bucs-Jags exhibition game.

LAST SEASON: The Jacksonville Jaguars compiled a 5-11 record in the AFC South division in 2008. The Jaguars were just 2-6 at home en route to finishing in last place in the AFC South.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers produced a 9-7 regular season record. The team's December collapse resulted in the dismissal of head coach Jon Gruden and general manager Bruce Allen, and the promotion of Raheem Morris and Mark Dominik to head coach and G.M., respectively.

THE LAST TIME THESE TEAMS MET: The Bucs and Jaguars last met during the 2007 regular season. Tampa Bay lost at home to Jacksonville in that contest, 24-23.

BUCS-JAGUARS SERIES: The Bucs are 2-5 all-time in the preseason vs. the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Bucs have compiled a 1-3 record vs. the Jaguars on the road in the preseason.
