The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have welcomed back to practice safety Will Allen. He was out since the first preseason game with a shoulder injury. Allen is in the starting mix for the first four games at the free safety position. Normal starter Tanard Jackson is suspended four games for violating the league's substance abuse policy.

The Bucs also started trimming their roster by releasing four players. Defensive end Jarriett Buie, wide receiver Kelly Campbell, defensive back DeAngelo Willingham, and guard Julius Wilson.

Not practicing due to injury on Saturday are the following Buccaneers: wide receiver Antonio Bryant (knee), wide receiver Michael Clayton (hamstring), kicker Matt Bryant (hamstring), linebacker Adam Hayward (ankle), wide receiver Dexter Jackson (ankle), and safety Donte Nicholson (quad).
