PewterReport.com is reporting that Bucs head coach Raheem Morris has decided to start second-year quarterback Josh Johnson over veteran QB Byron Leftwich for Tampa Bay's upcoming game vs. Washington.

The Bucs are 0-3 on the season. Johnson, a 2007 fifth-round draft pick, will make his first NFL start vs. the 1-2 Redskins.

Leftwich will be Tampa Bay's No. 3 signal caller behind Johnson and rookie QB Josh Freeman.

Morris had no new injuries to report Monday, but did say center Jeff Faine, who is sidelined with a triceps injury, is closer to returning to action.

PewterReport.com will have more on this story later today.
