Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Joey Galloway set a franchise single-season record for touchdown catches with 10 - thanks to his two scoring grabs against the New Orleans Saints. For his record-setting efforts in the Bucs' 27-13 win over the Saints, Galloway is the PewterReport.com Pewter Player of the game.

Tampa Bay wide receiver Joey Galloway was responsible for his team's first two touchdowns in the Buccaneers' 27-13 win over the visiting New Orleans Saints. Galloway caught touchdown passes of seven and four yards from quarterback Chris Simms to help build a 20-13 lead into the fourth quarter. For his efforts, Galloway is this week's PewterReport.com Pewter Player of the game.

"They were really nice plays by [Simms]," Galloway said of his two scoring catches. "He put both balls on the money where only I could catch them. It's a nice play call, and when he throws them like that we have no choice but to score."

Galloway finished Sunday's game with four catches for 38 yards and two touchdowns, but he could have had more yards and another score if his 44-yard touchdown late in the fourth quarter wasn't negated due to a holding penalty on right guard Sean Mahan.

The Bucs' 34-year old receiver entered Sunday's game with eight touchdown catches this year and set a new franchise single-season record with 10 scores thanks to his two touchdowns against the Saints. Galloway finished the 2005 season with 83 catches for 1,287 yards.
