 PewterReport.com is reporting the Tampa Bay Buccaneers placed fullback B.J. Askew on the reserve/non-football injury (NFI) list Tuesday.

Askew, who was Tampa Bay's starting fullback, was in a car accident last week and missed Sunday's game vs. Carolina due to a neck/back injury.

The Bucs used Askew's roster spot to add third-year cornerback Marcus McCauley, a former third-round pick with the Vikings.

In addition, the Bucs released CB Derrick Roberson from their 53-man roster and re-signed him to their practice squad.
