The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will clash with the New Orleans Saints in Week 11 of the 2009 regular season. What happened the last time these two teams met? How did the Saints fare last week? Pewter Report has a preview of Sunday's Bucs-Saints game.

LAST SEASON
: The New Orleans Saints escaped St. Louis with a 28-23 win over the one-win Rams last Sunday. Saints QB Drew Brees threw two touchdowns and two interceptions. Although it wasn't their best game of the year, the win was good enough to keep the Saints undefeated.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers were handed a 25-23 loss to the Dolphins in Miami last Sunday. Bucs kicker Connor Barth was 3-of-3 on field goal attempts. Bucs QB Josh Freeman threw a touchdown to WR Maurice Stovall and RB Cadillac Williams rushed for another score. Tampa Bay's defense surrendered 299 yards rushing to Miami's offense.

THE LAST TIME THESE TEAMS MET: The Bucs and Saints last met during the 2008 regular season. Tampa Bay avenged its Week 1 loss to New Orleans by defeating the Saints 23-20 on Nov. 30.

BUCS-SAINTS SERIES: The Bucs are 14-20 all-time in the regular season vs. the Saints. The teams have been meeting twice per season since Tampa Bay and New Orleans joined the NFC South division in 2002. The Bucs are 6-8 all-time at home vs. the Saints.
