LAST WEEK: The New York Jets escaped Canada with a win over the Buffalo Bills on Thursday night, 19-13. Jets rookie QB Mark Sanchez threw a touchdown pass to WR Braylon Edwards before leaving the contest with a knee injury.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers lost to the Panthers in Carolina on Sunday, 16-6. Bucs rookie QB Josh Freeman threw five interceptions while K Connor Barth missed two field goals. The Panthers rushed for over 150 yards en route to the win.

THE LAST TIME THESE TEAMS MET: The Bucs and Jets last met in October of the 2005 regular season. New York defended its home turf by downing Tampa Bay in that contest, 14-12.
