The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have signed cornerback Stoney Woodson to their eight-man practice squad.

Woodson, a 2009 seventh-round draft pick with the New York Giants, fills the open practice squad spot left by Bucs running back Kareem Huggins, who was recently promoted. Woodson played collegiately at South Carolina and attended Middleton High School in Tampa.
