The Bucs have reached out to former Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Bill Cowher about possibly coaching the team in 2010, according to Jason La Canfora's report on NFL.com.
According to the report, Cowher is open to the possibility of coaching again in the NFL, but will not interview for a job during the season or for positions that aren't already vacant.
Cowher, 53, produced a regular season record of 149-90-1 in Pittsburgh from 1992-2006. He won nine division championships and coached the Steelers to two Super Bowls, winning one of them just to retire one season later in 2006. He currently serves as an analyst for CBS and resides in North Carolina.
Morris, 33, is the league's youngest head coach. The Bucs currently have a 2-12 record and are scheduled to take on the 13-1 Saints in New Orleans at 1:00 p.m. ET today.
