according to a report on ESPN.
Bisaccia was the coordinator for the Buccaneers during their 2002 Super Bowl Championship season, and led that unit throughout the tenure of former Bucs coach Jon Gruden. Bisaccia was the running backs coach and special teams coach in 2008, but when Raheem Morris became head coach Steve Logan was hired to be the running backs coach.
After some highly critical years in Tampa Bay, Bisaccia had his unit record the first kick return for a touchdown in franchise history on Dec. 16, 2007. Micheal Spurlock returned a kick 90-yards for a touchdown against the Atlanta Falcons. Last season Bisaccia's kick and punt returner Clifton Smith went to the Pro Bowl for the NFC.
Bisaccia coached in the college ranks for many seasons at South Carolina and Mississippi. Bisaccia is the second assistant to leave Tampa Bay for Tennessee in as many seasons. Former defensive coordinator Monte Kiffin left Tampa Bay after the 2008 season to coach in Tennessee with his son Lane Kiffin, who was named the Volunteers head coach.
The report also says that Bucs defensive line coach Robert Nunn and defensive backs coach Joe Baker will not return to the team next season. Both Nunn and Baker were assistants that had previously worked with demoted defensive coordinator Jim Bates. After a Week 11 38-7 loss to the Saints, Bates was demoted from defensive coordinator and Morris took over those duties.
