It's unclear what the future holds for Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Raheem Morris, whose team went 3-13 during the 2009 regular season.
Last year, the Glazers waited until two weeks after the 2009 regular season ended to fire head coach Jon Gruden and general manager Bruce Allen.
Morris, who is the youngest head coach in the NFL, said Monday during his season-ending press conference at One Buc Place that he had not yet met with ownership to discuss the season or his future with the team.
However, Morris' job in Tampa Bay could be safe for another year if former Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Bill Cowher decides not to return to coaching in 2010. According to ESPN, Cowher is leaning towards not coaching in 2010.
If true, that's significant news seeing as how NFL.com reported last month that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers had reached out to Cowher to go gauge his interest in coaching the team this year. Cowher currently serves as an analyst for CBS.
