Tampa Bay head coach Raheem Morris disclosed Wednesday from the East-West Shrine Game practices in Orlando, Fla. that the team was actively looking for a new wide receivers coach and quarterbacks coach.

PewterReport.com is reporting Bucs assistant wide receivers coach Tim Berbenich is receiving serious consideration for both positions.

Richard Mann, who served as Tampa Bay's wide receivers coach from 2002-09, hasn't accepted a job with a new team, but he and the team recently agreed to part ways.

A void was created at the quarterbacks coaching position when the Bucs fired offensive coordinator Jeff Jagodzinski and filled that role by promoting QBs coach Greg Olson in September.

Berbenich, 30, is entering his fifth season with the Bucs. He spent the first two years of his Bucs tenure (2006-07) working as an offensive quality control coach under then-head coach Jon Gruden. Berbenich served as the team's assistant running backs coach and assistant wide receivers coach in 2008 and 2009, respectively.

While the Bucs are interviewing him for both positions, Berbenich is believed to be most interested in the quarterbacks coaching job, a role he's aspired to have since he first began working in the NFL with the New York Jets in 2000.

Berbenich has worked with every position on Tampa Bay's offense except for the offensive line. In addition to having worked under Gruden, Paul Hackett and Olson in the past, Berbenich also has a great working relationship with Olson, who still would be involved with quarterback Josh Freeman even after the team announces its new QBs coach.

The Bucs think highly of Berbenich, who spent a lot of time working with Freeman after Olson was promoted to offensive coordinator last year.

"We have to go back and talk about all that stuff," Morris said of Berbenich on Wednesday. "Coach Berbs is a young coach, a young aspiring coach, but right now we remain status quo."

Should Berbenich be promoted to quarterbacks coach, the Bucs have identified several candidates for the wide receivers coaching position, including former Bucs wide outs Ike Hillard and Keenan McCardell.

Tampa Bay general manager Mark Dominik said earlier this week that he is hopeful the Bucs will have their coaching staff changes announced before the Bucs head to Mobile, Ala. for the Senior Bowl next week.
