The Buccaneers are undergoing some significant turnover at One Buccaneer Place these days. On Friday, news surfaced regarding Tampa Bay director of public relations Jeff Kamis leaving the organization after 10 years.

[Jeff] Kamis, 37, said he plans to remain in the Bay area and pursue other opportunities.

"I dreamed of working in the NFL since I was a kid and it's been an unbelievable experience,'' Kamis said.

"As an organization, we accomplished a lot of great things. When I look at the people who have worked in our department and where they are now, it's a credit to the organization. I will cherish the lifelong relationships I've built through my time with the Bucs.''

It's a curious move, and we're not sure how much it has to do with some of head coach Raheem Morris' less than stellar press conferences throughout the 2009 season. Tampa Bay's public relations department has undergone significant changes over the last year or so. Kamis' assistant, Kimberly Hannah, left her post earlier this year, and the team laid off another member of Tampa Bay's public relations department in 2009. Tampa Bay's public relations department isn't the only one undergoing change. Late last season, the Bucs and cheerleading coordinator Sandy Charboneau parted ways. Last week, the Bucs parted ways with Bucs general manager Mark Dominik's executive assistant, Michelle Zavala.
