The group known as the Red Knights that is trying to take over Manchester United from the Glazer family is making moves to be proactive about their intended take over.
According to CNN's London bureau, the so-called "Red Knights" have hired Japanese investment bank Nomura to assist with an effort to secure control of the club.
The "Red Knights" are a consortium of rich folk who hope to put together enough money to make the Glazers an offer they can't refuse.
Bucs fans would likely welcome such a development, since in theory it would give the Glazers greater resources to devote to their American football team.

PewterReport.com's Take: The Bucs owners have been increasingly unpopular with Manchester United fans and Buccaneers fans. Both fan bases feel that the purchase of Manchester United has affected the Glazers finances to the point that the teams don't have the resources to pay for talent to upgrade the rosters. Tampa Bay has spent the least on player salaries of any team in the NFL over the past five seasons, so it is hard to argue that the purchase of Manchester United hasn't impacted the Buccaneers.
