Tampa Bay Buccaneers free agent linebacker Matt McCoy signed a one-year contract with the Seattle Seahawks on Wednesday.
McCoy, 27, was an on-again, off-again member of Tampa Bay's 53-man roster over the past two seasons (2008-09), contributing primarily on special teams. He originally entered the NFL as a second-round pick with the Eagles in 2005.
McCoy is one of several Bucs free agents to have signed with other teams this offseason, a list that includes wide receiver Antonio Bryant (Cincinnati), safety Will Allen (Pittsburgh) and WR Brian Clark (Detroit).
