PewterReport.com's Take: According to league sources PewterReport.com spoke with regarding this situation, New England, Dallas, Washington and Indianapolis had already opted out of the league's pension system for its employees. Tampa Bay followed suit and many other NFL teams are beginning to follow. Who knows, the end result may be that all teams eventually opt out of the pension plan. The specific reasons for this may be unclear, but it appears as if it could become a league-wide phenomenon. The Bucs are hardly the lone wolf in this situation, nor are they the trailblazer.
