Washington Redskins general manager Bruce Allen added one of his former Buccaneers scouts to the his current front office when he hired Richard Mann II. Mann is the son of former Bucs wide receivers coach Richard Mann. The younger Mann was a scout with Tampa Bay for three seasons. Jason Reid writes:While the Redskins parted ways with two scouts today, they added at least one new employee. The team has hired Richard Mann II, who served the past three seasons in Tampa Bay's scouting department, according to a league source.
Mann II carried the title of personnel assistant in Tampa, serving as a liaison between the area scouts and the team's personnel department. He also assisted with the evaluation of prospects.

Mann II was held in high regard by many at One Buc Place. Some have told Pewter Report that Mann II was a grinder that did the work of three staff members. Mann II was said to be at work at 6:00 AM and work until 8:00 PM on a regular basis.
