The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have announced plans for their 2010 FanFest, which will be held on Saturday, June 19. FanFest is a free, annual event at Raymond James Stadium where Bucs fans can interact with and get photos and autographs from Bucs coaches, players, general manager Mark Dominik and co-chairmen Joel and Bryan Glazer.
The big change to this year’s event is that instead of it being during the sweltering heat and humidity during the day, FanFest will take place between 4:30-9:00 p.m. The Buccaneers organization went out of its way to think of the fans and move the time of the event to later in the evening when temperatures are cooler.
"FanFest is so special to us and our fans because it signals the start of a new season," said co-chairman Bryan Glazer. "Fans get to meet their heroes and our organization gets to thank our loyal fans."
The 2010 Tampa Bay Buccaneers Cheerleaders squad is scheduled to perform and there will be on-field games and activities for kids to participate in, in addition to fans having a chance to walk around the seating section of the stadium and have the opportunity to purchase season tickets. The Bucs have introduced select kids ticket prices starting at $25 per game, and family seating starting at $35 per game.
Buccaneers head coach Raheem Morris and his staff will address the crowd from a podium and take questions from fans as part of Coaches' Corner, and there will also be Buccaneers alumni in attendance along with the Captain Fear mascot. Fans will have the chance to board the Pirate Ship in the north end zone.
