Despite the Tampa Bay Buccaneers coming off a 3-13 season, having the lowest payroll in the NFL and facing blackouts for the upcoming 2010 season, not all news is bad news for the Glazer family.

According to Forbes, the Buccaneers ranked as the no. 12 most valuable franchise.

That is not just in the NFL. That is no. 12 in the world.

The Buccaneers are valued at $1.09 billion. The only other NFL teams that are ahead of the Bucs as far as finances are concerned are the Cowboys (no. 2), Redskins (no. 4), Patriots (no. 5), Giants (no. 7), Jets (no.9), Texans (no. 10), and Eagles (no. 11).

The Glazers are also owners of the no. 1 franchise, Manchester United of the English Premier League, which is valued at $1.83 billion.

Not bad considered the Glazers were reportedly in a little bit of debt just last month - $1.5 billion to be exact.
