The Bucs had their hearts set on Zoltan Mesko in the draft, but the Patriots leapfrogged us. Damn shame, because Mesko has been doing well. Oh well, Malone can't be much worse than Bryan, can he? Famous last words.

You're welcome. What concerns me is the holds on kicks. Conner Barth is only good if the hold is good. We already have sh!tty punting, no place to go but UP in that regard.

Recruited for his general athletic ability, Malone played tight end and defensive end in high school in addition to being the team's punter. He battled injury and inconsistency his first two years with the program, but emerged as one of the WAC's best young punters in 2008, averaging 42.8 yards per punt and placing 20 kicks inside his opponents' 20-yard line (against only five touchbacks). Malone worked on his leg strength during the offseason and it showed. He improved his average distance to 45.9 yards, which would have ranked second in the entire country had he been eligible. Because Malone, Fresno's only punter of record in 2009, only averaged 3.4 punts per game for the season, rather than the NCAA-required 3.6, he did not earn the national acclaim of some of his peers. Punting was a big problem Sunday. I told my son after being at the game we had to do better. Their punting put us in the hole a couple times but ours was pretty bad. He did make a great save on the feild goal though. I watched it yesterday (I was in the end zone so I was sheilded from the hold) and it was a great play. Too bad he hasn't panned out. I don't care who they go with as long as he can catch the snap, punt and hold. Great comeback, great game, made the drive home MUCH, MUCH better. It was amazing to here the fans boo Carson when they annouced he passed the 20,000 yard mark, I was like damn, tough place to be a QB. LOL GO BUCS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Australian Rules football player shouldn't even be called a punter. He was on the top of my "Most Disappointing Player" list but didn't even make the Pewter Report list at all. I say bring back Mark Royals who gets on the radio each week claiming he still has a better leg than either of they "punters" that passed through. Let's see Mark. My daughter once dated ex-punter Tommy Barnhardt. When she was going to introduce him to us she instructed me not to talk about football. I told her I would pretend to know nothing about it. When we met I asked Tommy what he did for a living, to which he replied, "I'm a football player". I responded by saying, "Oh, I thought you were a punter."

I thought that the Bowden kid would work out being that he is young, should have some pop in his leg, and PR mentioned how accurate he is. Well it appears that he is none of those things and next draft we cannot wait until the 6th and let someone else snatch up our targeted player. I hope that Myron Lewis pans out because he ruined our board, I scratched my head at that selection but I trusted Morris. I am still trusting but I haven't seen anything from Lewis...not even special teams!
