Jerramy Stevens Arrested For Drug Possession

Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Jerramy Stevens was arrested on Saturday night for possession of cannabis with intent to sell, possession of cannabis, and possession of drug paraphernalia. The first two charges are felonies, while the last one is a misdemeanor.

According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, the arrest occurred at 7:12 p.m. Stevens was released on $4,500 bond at 12:30 a.m. Sunday morning.

The Bucs signed Stevens as a free agent in 2007. Stevens, 30, has played in all five games thus far. He has three catches for 43 yards.

    Now T-Jack has some company...I dont know what the big deal is about smokin weed-if you can light up a joint and light up the field-who really cares...I know its illegal,but come on...So long Stevens,this might mark the end of his career-or the beginning of his time in Oakland...Either way,he seems to have his next career in mind...

    Stevens is past his prime, and an idiot. Let's hope Purvis get's his chance. But I kind of fear Raheem might try and get Lorig in there instead...

    It is about time that this POS is no longer on this team. Thank you Stevens for being so stupid that you took yourself off of this team instead of waitng for the Bucs to do it! You can't block or contribute anything offensively so why were you on the team this long anyway? Come on Bucs, get someone who actually can contribute to this team and also teach your other tight end and receivers how to block so this running game can finally get going.

    Agreed on Purvis, we don't need the type of trouble that Stevens represents. Purvis is the young, up and coming talent anyway....
