The Buccaneers had a hard practice on Thursday in very hot conditions at One Buc Place, but a number of players were held out with their injuries. Missing practice on Thursday were: linebacker Geno Hayes (knee), right tackle Jeremy Trueblood (knee), left guard Keydrick Vincent (back), center Jeff Faine (quad), defensive tackle Brian Price (pelvis), and wide receiver Preston Parker (knee).

Limited in practice were: running back LeGarrette Blount (illness), defensive end Kyle Moore (shoulder), and defensive end Alex Magee. Buccaneers head coach Raheem Morris said the newly acquired Magee was limited in practice due to getting adjusted to the heat. Morris said that Blount should be recovered from his flu by game time on Sunday.

If the team believes that Trueblood and Vincent are not going to play they may elevate a practice squad offensive linemen to the active roster according to Morris. The team has into the day on Saturday to make that decision. Guard Brandon Carter and tackle Will Barker have been on the squad throughout the season, and center/guard John Malecki was just added to the practice squad. Starting in place of Vincent last week was rookie Ted Larsen. If Trueblood can’t start veteran James Lee is likely to replace him. Tackle Derek Hardman is also on the active roster.

Players that had full participation in practice were: tight end Kellen Winslow (knee), fullback Earnest Graham (hamstring), and cornerback Aqib Talib (calf).

The Cardinals released the following injury report. Limited in practice were: wide receiver Steve Breaston (knee), wide receiver Early Doucet (groin), defensive tackle Alan Branch (back), linebacker Joey Porter (groin), and cornerback Greg Toler (back). Three players had full participation: defensive tackle Dan Williams (groin), linebacker Reggie Walker (hamstring), and quarterback Max Hall (head). Linebacker Clark Haggans (groin) was the only player unable to practice.

Lets get some of the young healthy OL active. We might as well see whether or not some of these giuys are good enough so we won't have to draft OL in the early rounds. Go Bucs! Make it happen!

just looked him up, sizeable guy. can he play at the NFL level, thats what we should be finding out. what have we got to lose this year by maintaining focus and finding our youth and future of the franchise. then next year let them have some expectations.

Hopefully they bring up Brandon Carter. I have been excited to see this kid play. After the draft I was wondering what team got him and sure enough he was on our practice squad. I don't know if anyone has seen this guy play at Texas Tech but he is a BEAST !
