In addition to being nominated for the NFL Rookie of the Week, running back LeGarrette Blount is also nominated for the GMC Never Say Never Moment of the Week for his 120-yard, two-touchdown performance against the Arizona Cardinals. If you want to make Blount wins you can vote for him at NFL.com/gmc.
Here are the finalists:
Rookie Blount pivotal in Bucs' fifth straight road win
Trailing 35-31, Tampa Bay turned to an unlikely hero -- undrafted rookie LeGarrette Blount, who wanted another shot after his fumble at the end of the third quarter was returned by Arizona for a touchdown. Blount got it and stepped on the gas, rushing for 120 yards and two touchdowns, including the game-winner, in the Bucs' fifth straight road victory.
Stafford returns to lead Lions' fourth-quarter comeback
Out of action since Week 2 with a shoulder injury, Matthew Stafford was determined to show he had fully recovered. Did he ever. Not missing a beat, the No. 1 pick in the 2009 draft refused to let the Lions surrender, bringing them back from two fourth-quarter deficits with a pair of touchdown passes to Calvin Johnson, the final coming on fourth down with 3:12 to go.
Chiefs' Succop finds redemption with winning field goal
After getting passed over on a field goal try earlier in the game and then missing a 39-yard attempt in overtime, Ryan Succop never gave up hope. Neither did his coach, who sent him out there again in overtime for another game-winning attempt, and this time Succop delivered with a 35-yarder to give the Chiefs a 13-10 win over Buffalo.
