Buccaneers head coach Raheem Morris said that James Lee beat out Jeremy Trueblood in practice this week and will remain the team's right tackle for a fifth straight game when the Atlanta Falcons come to town. Trueblood has been healthy enough to dress the last three Sundays, but has taken a reserve role behind Lee, who must be considered the starter at right tackle. That's a position Trueblood has occupied since entering the league as a second-round pick in 2006. Morris praised Lee's pass protection skills while saying that Trueblood gave the team more thump in the running game.

Morris also said that third-year pro Corey Lynch would start at free safety for the injured Cody Grimm, who was placed on IR this week. This move comes as no surprise after the release of veteran safety Sabby Piscitelli on Tuesday. Morris said he likes Lynch's ball skills and that he will rotate with Vince Anderson and Ronde Barber on Sunday against Atlanta. Lynch led the team in interceptions with two in the preseason finale at Houston, including one he returned 91 yards for a touchdown.
