The Buccaneers had veteran defensive tackle Frank Okam working with the first team defense replacing the injured Gerald McCoy. The Bucs first-round pick McCoy is out for the season with a torn biceps muscle. Linebacker Quincy Black also went on injured reserve for the season with a broken forearm. Replacing him with the first team defense at the beginning of practice was veteran Adam Hayward.

Defensive end Tim Crowder (shoulder), linebacker Niko Koutouvides (ankle), linebacker Dekoda Watson (knee, hamstring), and wide receiver Mike Williams (knee) were all practicing on Wednesday. Tight end Kellen Winslow (knee) was not out on the practice field. Recently arrested linebacker Geno Hayes was practicing with the team and head coach Raheem Morris said earlier in the week that Hayes would play on Sunday when the Bucs host the Detroit Lions.

A+ for Morris and Dominik on Frank Okam. Bring on a BIG linebacker to replace Hayes. Put McCoy at Definsive end. Keep it up & you will be Coach and GM of the year. Go Bucs!!!!! It is going to be tough for some of the starters that are out to get their jobs back.

is our style of violent play why half the team is so beat up?

I could be wrong, but I don't think the roster is updated.
