The Buccaneers banner offensive day against the Seattle Seahawks was recognized nationally with quarterback Josh Freeman and running back LeGarrette Blount being named the FedEx Air & Ground NFL Players of the Week. Freeman threw for 237 yards while completing 21-of-26 passes. He threw a career high five touchdown passes that tied the Buccaneers all-time record.

Blount ran for 164 yards on 18 carries for an average of 9.1 yards per carry. The last time a Buccaneer player ran for that many yards was running back Warrick Dunn when he ran for 210 yards on 22 carries in December of 2000.

FedEx will make a $2,000 donation to Safe Kids USA coalitions in the name of Freeman and Blount.

That's great news and it's such a worthy cause. But, $2000? FedEx should be ashamed of themselves for that figure.
