Four Bucs Listed On Latest Injury Report

Tampa Bay released its latest official injury report and only four Buccaneers were listed.

That list consists of: LB Quincy Black (ankle), T James Lee (knee) and WR Sammie Stroughter (foot). All three did not practice Wednesday and TE Kellen Winslow joined the group by not hitting the field, but not because of injury.

Cornerback Myron Lewis, who has been inactive throughout the first two weeks of the season, was not mentioned on today's list.

The Atlanta Falcons also supplied an injury update of their own, with eight inclusions.

Those not participating in Wednesday practice were: DT Johnathan Babineaux (knee) and CB Kelvin Hayden. Players on the field in a limited capacity were: DE Ray Edwards (foot), C Todd McClure (knee), QB Matt Ryan (knee) and WR Roddy White (thigh). DT Corey Peters (back) and S Shann Schillinger (neck) practiced in full.

    The injury report on Quincey Black showing an ankle injury is confirmation of a report previously in my newspaper but never referred to officially by PR until now. This is why Black had bad production from halftime in the Detroit game through halftime in the Vikings game. Interestingly, my newspaper today is quoting Raheem Morris as saying that he is hopeful that Quincy Black can play Sunday, which tells me Raheem understands why Black's production dipped and is not holding it against him, but instead, hoping to get him back Sunday. After the rash of criticism of Black by PR and a lot of the fans, I hope he does not come back until he is 100 per cent. Dakota Watson has earned the right to step up to the first string at strong side linebacker in Quincey's place.

    I say Tampa should look at the waiver wire, espically at the running back, If the two backups don't help this year. Bring back another RB to help fill in-GO BUCS

    Any word on Jackson's suspension??? Has he applied for reinstatement yet?
