Former Buccaneers offensive coordinator Greg Olson spent the last three seasons working on developing Josh Freeman and in his next stop the project will be even more of a challenge. Olson has been named quarterbacks and assistant head coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars and now faces the task of helping 2011 first round draft pick Blaine Gabbert develop into a quality NFL starter.

The 10th overall pick out of Missouri last season struggled all year finishing last in the league with a 65.4 quarterback rating. On the season Gabbert was 210-of-413 (50.8 percent completion percentage) for 2,214 yards and 12 touchdowns with 11 interceptions.

Olson came to Tampa Bay in 2008 as the Bucs QB coach before taking over as play-caller in 2009. Olson was with the Detroit Lions and St. Louis Rams prior to coming to Tampa Bay.

A little surprised that the Dolphins went for Philbin so soon. There really was no rush until after Monday.

And the Jags just got even more boring (and I live here). Not exactly a great hire, yet, by the "Khan-Stache."

Everybody deserves a second chance because nobody is perfect. We all can learn from our mistakes if we chose too. I hope he takes advantage of it.
