Enough with the Trent Richardson talk. Of the top 20 rushers last year, only three were drafted in the top ten, and of those only one was with his original team (and he got hurt). The Glazers are followers, and in a QB-coach league no one is featuring high-drafted running backs anymore. To top it off, they are still smarting from the Cadillac injuries. It makes NO sense at all to peg Richardson as our five pick or even think about it anymore. He probably won't even go in the top ten. And the only reason I'm able to give Biggers another chance is because it might have been his coaching that was a problem. Fortunately, he'll be the dime if we're lucky.

Given the extensive injury list last year, is there any players that were placed on the list that the Bucs look forward to getting healthy and contributing to this years team? Conversely, are there any players we picked up to fill the roster spots last year that the Bucs think can provide some depth for this years team?

I thought SR's comments about Wright being projected as a shut down corner were curious. I thought Wright's ability to play all 3 positions--and his willingness to tackle were much more desirable. Especially the tackling; it's a skill many CB's avoid--and one I wonder if Claiborne can do. Kudos to the Buc fan that asked about Dont'a Hightower. I know the buzz on Kuechley and he'd be a great pick...but--Does nobody else see Spikes when you look at Hightower? Plus he is 43 & 34 diverse with size and pass rush ability. I thought more Bucs' fans would be excited about Hightower given the NEED at LB, and the current trend of playing mixed fronts.
